ОПИСАНИЕ ВАКАНСИИ

As a member of the EMEA Energy, Utilities & Regulation Group, you will take analytical responsibility for a portfolio of corporate issuers in the Russian and CIS oil & gas, electricity and transportation sectors. You will conduct meetings with and analyse the creditworthiness of issuers in the sectors. The role also involves presenting and discussing recommendations to a rating committee and communicating credit opinions on debt capital markets issuers effectively to external parties. Additional analytical focus will comprise ad hoc sector commentaries, rating actions to reflect credit events and topical research. The role will also involve some analytical support to business development activities, interaction with issuers, investors and bankers, and will entail some travel.

The opportunity exists for the individual to expand the portfolio and to broaden their overall knowledge to incorporate all aspects of energy, utilities and transportation across the EMEA region. The Energy, Utilities & Regulation team works extensively with other areas within the Agency, most frequently with structured finance on CDO, WBS, Project Finance and ABS transactions, providing the opportunity for the successful candidate to also gain some experience of these product areas.



ИНТЕРЕСУЮЩИЙ НАС ПРОФИЛЬ

Candidates should have:
- Strong knowledge of, or as a minimum a strong interest in, the energy, utilities and transportation industries.
- Strong analytical skills and demonstrable experience in a credit, corporate finance, or execution role within a commercial or investment bank/ financial institution, or a background in the energy or utilities industry or in consultancy / auditing.
- Some experience of structured / project finance would be an advantage
- Good written and verbal communications skills.
- Fluent written and spoken English and Russian. Additional language skills would be an advantage.
- A financial based professional qualification (e.g. MBA / ACA / CIMA / CFA) would be a plus.
- Cash-flow modelling and accounting skills.
- A strong team spirit, enabling him/her to work seamlessly with other members of the EMEA team.
