Our client is a large Russian commercial bank (member of international financial group). In order to empower its risk division and to support extensive business growth efficiently, the Bank is looking for Head of Operational Risk.


ОПИСАНИЕ ВАКАНСИИ

Under the responsibility of Head of Risk, the Head of Operational Risk has the mission to manage all tools in order to reduce operational risk at a zero level.
Your responsibilities will include:
-Coordinating and developing ORM methodologies and tools within the bank (ie RCSA / KRIs / loss collection) in accordance with the ORM framework of the Group.
- Through guidance and relevant training increase awareness on operational risk and controls within the division
- Developing and delivering presentations to raise awareness on op risk management as appropriate as part of op risk awareness program.
- Assessing and providing guidance on new product and business operational risks and ensuring they are implemented effectively
- Performing operational risk reviews, incident and breach reporting
- Analysing operational incidents to identify improvements to controls
- Escalating Risk issues effectively and in a timely manner, while maintaining effective relationships with relevant stakeholders and divisions
- Working with support areas - i.e. finance, operations and IT to ensure a high level of control is maintained
- Ensuring appropriate understanding of the ORM framework through training, advice and reporting
- Representing ORM within key projects
- Contributing to the evaluation and mitigation of IT processes and projects
- Contributing to the evaluation and mitigation of information security risks.
- Ensuring that the operational risks in outsourcing activities are identified and mitigated


ИНТЕРЕСУЮЩИЙ НАС ПРОФИЛЬ

Required qualifications and skills:
- Operational Risk experience in an international bank preferably including risk experience from the Retail Banking Sector
- An understanding or working experience of compliance activities- i.e. anti money laundering procedures, will also be useful.
- An understanding of IT related risks and data security issues.
- A strong assertive personality
- Excellent communication/ interpersonal skills including in depth experience of stakeholder management, influencing and negotiating will be key to the success of the role
- Good command of the English Language
- Ability to take initiatives and lead the operational risk team
- Ability to manage and co-ordinate projects
- Good organizer
- Good presentation skills
- Good IT skills and knowledge
