Описание: О НАШЕМ КЛИЕНТЕ

Our client manages two funds which together own (among other investments) one of the world's largest farming operations in Russia and Ukraine. To date, the Russian and Ukrainian farms have operated independently, reporting to senior management teams based in Moscow and Kiev respectively.
Our client is planning for the disposition of this business in the next 1-3 years, which could involve an IPO on the London Stock Exchange or a private trade sale, and could be done in one or multiple transactions.
In preparation for this disposition, our client is seeking to hire an individual who will integrate and unify the policies and practices of the companies, including financial reporting, cash management, and internal controls, and who will plan and take the lead in the IPO/trade sale disposition process when that time comes. It is contemplated that this individual will remain the CFO of the company after the disposition, at least for a certain length of time.



ОПИСАНИЕ ВАКАНСИИ

-Review and understand operational procedures involving business planning, forecasting and accounting and tax practices, initiating changes where required and confirming practices between Russian and Ukranian operations so that results may be easily combined and efficiencies maximized.
-Review internal control practices of companies, instituting improvements where required in order to reach the level expected of a publicly held company. Establish some internal audit activity, including direct oversight of internal auditors currently employed by the businesses.
-Coordinate and integrate efforts of finance and other functional teams in Kiev, Moscow and regions; develop incentive systems tied to preparedness and success of both operations and IPO/trade sale; performance reviews.
-Project leadership for the work leading up to a disposition, including preparation of preliminary offering document, consultation with bankers, lawyers and other professionals as required.
-Lead role in the disposition including road show preparation and participation, communications with the investment community and advisors, preparation of presentation materials and models.
-Structuring of effective communication protocols with the various internal stakeholders and current/future service providers involved in the disposition process (investment bankers, lawyers, auditors, etc.).



ИНТЕРЕСУЮЩИЙ НАС ПРОФИЛЬ

Ideal professional experience and qualities:
-At least 10 years of proven experience in financial management and capital raising for reputable Russian, Ukrainian and/or multinational companies;
-At least 3 years of experience as Financial Director/CFO;
-Demonstrated hands-on experience effecting successful IPO projects on the LSE or similar;
-Experience in agribusiness is a plus; professional interest in agribusiness is a must;
-Experience working in an entrepreneurial environment;
-Education in accounting/finance;
-English and Russian fluency is a must.
